Is this the right place...??..About Twilight Princess

Hi all,

New here, and glad to have found these forums. I have a question for my hb who is playing Twilight Princess on GC and I apologize if this is not the correct place to post this.

This is the problem:

Link is just going into Hyrule castle. There is a wolf at the gate and this wolf tries to teach Link a shield attack. But the shield is not there anymore, and it's not clear where it got lost. Link tried to go back to Kakariko Village to buy a new shield but all entrances to Kakariko are blocked. How does Link get his (or an other) shield back?

Thank you both, we'll just keep playing and hope we'll get to Kakariko village soon and get an other shield.
