Very good, much more difficult though as a single shot can kill you in the very first GTA game. They're all seen from above so at times that can get frustrating but it's great games nevertheless.
yea they didnt age well, i had really fond memories of playing gta 1 and 2 on pc back in the day, so i downloaded them from rockstar a few months ago, but after playing gta3, they are well... just boring now
GTA - Meh, the cities are big, and it can be fun, but its also pretty hard and running around the city isnt all that fun GTA London - A huge improvement, better missions, nicely realised city, better graphics, vastly improved graphics, though its still very much in the vain of the first GTA GTA2 - Now we are talking, the game simply leaves the first two in the dust, why this game got mediocre reviews i dont know. I had hours upon hours of fun playing this game, the cities are huge and nicely realised, theres plenty of cars (though no bikes). The HUGE problem with the game that it was extremely unforgiving, saving for example takes $50, in the first two cities, this can take hours of play in one sitting to achieve, and at the same time might not be worth it as it may spent better somewhere else. The game also had a multiplier system, and once you racked it up, you score crazy money, but soon as you get busted or die, you lose half of it, meaning if you havent saved then you better start the game again. Then theres the missions, they are a bit repetitive, and again frustrating, but still all of the flaws dont stop it from being a huge amount of fun. In fact i enjoyed it more GTAIII
They are good for bringing back memories if you played them back then, but admittedly they haven't aged well. I guess if you can get them really cheap it would be alright, just don't pay a whole lot for them thinking your going to strike Video Game gold.
