Alright. Not really sure if this is possible, but I don't really even know where to start looking. My boyfriend and I are going to be having our one year anniversary in a month or so.

As a gift, I am wondering if it's possible to find/buy/make a custom GameBoy Color with a custom game cartridge. By custom I mean if it's possible to either etch initials/names into the gameboy color itself, and/or program a gameboy color cartridge to have custom content. (maybe just enough to have custom text/images when inserted)

Like I said, I don't even know if it's possible, but I am hoping someone knows where I could look. I can't really break my budget (no more than $300 for both, i'm hoping), but I realize it's probably expensive to have someone do what I'm asking. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Moving from Off Topic to GD. Off Topic is for non-gaming related topics.

You could try asking this guy. He runs an online store where he sells customised Gameboys and flash cartridges

This guy is the only person on earth who can help you about custom Gameboys, he even opens them up.

Ps buy him a switch or a nvidia shield with every single em on: ps1, ps2, game boy, advance, game cube, Dreamcast Sega.

And add the device be it a phone into a Gameboy protective shell so it doesn't drop.

Can't help you if you're politically correct.
