My favorite is Marth. In SSB it use to be between Link and Samus. I still use the two of them in Melee aswell as Roy, but Marth takes priority. And recently, I've been branching out to play characters I normally didn't bother with (Young Link, Kirby, etc.)

Mine would have to be Roy. His attacks were just powerful, and fire is a totally awesome element. ^______^ Then it would have to be Link, then Marth. I enjoy fighting with sword wielding characters.
Captain Falcon. He's the best mix of speed and power. and he can take a lot of damage. His only drawbacks are that he is very hard to control and is sometimes susceptible to air combos.
