Far from it in my opinion. The complete lack of challenge and so so story only make an average Zelda game. I actually liked WW better than TP and WW wasn't the best either(damn boat). Kinda felt letdown playing TP :?.
I thinkOcarina of Time will always be remembered as the best Zelda only because it was so revolutionary for it's time and proved that 2-D series could sucessfully translate into the 3-D generation. I personally thought Twilight Princess was better but thats just my opinion.:)
I am going to say Wind Waker because i loved the art style. I just beat TP and i loved it, but i dont think it was the best. First, i can tell Nintendo was trying to make it much darker, but i think that the story wouldn't let them. There should have been actual blood and stuff. Wind Waker just felt like a more whole game to me.
It could've been if they had sorted out all the overflowing cash problems (give me something decent to spend money on!!) and the difficulty was considerably higher.
i'd say OoT, majoras mask and wind waker are all better than TP. i think they spent too much time getting it wii-ready and not enough time making it up to par with the series but i will say this, shooting the bow in the wii version is pretty sweet.

I'd have to agree with you there i remember that when i was younger 7 or 8 me and my sister borrowed my uncles snes with link to the past and played it almost 24 hours straight, that was one awesome game.
I think that Twilight is the best because it is the only Zelda game i played. But i think when i play ocarina i will like it betternived29
Maybe you should try playing the other games before coming up with that conclusion or making a thread about it, not that there aren't 9 "which zelda is best" topics on page 1 alone.
