Yes, Yes! You know, if Tidus was the bad guy instead of Seymour, I would of loved putting him out of his misery!

I thought he was ok. There's no real set-up for him. You're just told that he's evil and very powerful, but there's no real justification for that. Thats the only problem I had with. Besides the fact that his character design was ridiculous...

Seifer comes close, Ultros, Gilgamesh, the turks...though all of these villains are laughable too...

I though seymour was okay, nothing amazing about him...

The two problems I had with Seymour: 1. his outfit, it was awful!:x, 2. his voice, it wasn't evil enough.:P

Im guessing you havent played the PAL version because that has some very powerful optional bosses the dark aeons and Pennance

Yeah, the only FF's with main quests that actually were kinda tough were FFI-V, IX, and XII.

/IX really isn't all that toughfs_metal

It wasn't tough, but it wasn't a cakewalk either...

i may be going against the flow but i still find VIII the hardest FF in the PS1 era...IX was pretty easy, iv seen more game over screens in VIII than in any other game besides ones that say it all the time...if only the other FF's were as hard as that was, bcus it would have made them so much better...A_Fading_Scream

The only hard parts of VIII were alot of the optional stuff and the last boss who put up a good fight...everything else I didn't have much issue with...
