Due to my recent acquisition of a Dreamcast, I'm looking to expand my Dreamcast collection.  I currently own:

Elemental Gimmick Gear
Shenmue
Sonic Adventure 2
Soul Calibur
Time Stalkers

On the GC I have:

Skies of Arcadia Legends
Evolution Worlds
Crazy Taxi
All the Resident Evil titles

My question is what (if any) unique titles should I look to pick up that I don't already own.  Also would it be worthEvolution 1 & 2 even tho I own Evolution Worlds?

Unless you'e dying for extra games, I'd skip Evolution 1 & 2, since you've got the compilation. I listed a number of great Dreamcast games the other day when Twar asked in the New Acq. thread. More and more, I think that the number one title to grab on Dreamcast is Project Justice.

Thx, I'll have to look back in that thread to find.  I do recall that now that you mention it.

Personal recommendations from my own Dreamcast collection:

I'm not into fighting games, but I do own and have played Power Stone...one of the few fighting games I thoroughly enjoy!

Grandia II is excellent! And from what I hear, a lot better than the PS2 version.

Skies of Arcadia...Awesome T-B RPG! Never played 'Legends' for the GC...but I love the original DC release!

D2, Illbleed, and Typing of the Dead (TotD requires DC Keyboard) are all pretty good Horror/Action DC games.

Record of Lodoss War is another decent Action/RPG.

Sega Bass Fishing 1 & 2 and Sega Marine Fishing are all a TON O' FUN with the DC fishing pole controller!

Silver and Time Stalkers are two other DC RPGs that are just OK imo.

And finally, Jet Grind Radio is awesome! I've never played the XBOX version, but I can definitely vouch for the DC version!

I'll throw a few personal favourites of mine:

ChuChu Rocket! - Very cheap to pick one, great four player party game.
Headhunter - You play as a bounty hunter, great visuals.
NBA showtime: NBA on NBC - My most played game, arcade styIe 2 v 2 basketball.
Crazy Taxi - Great arcade port.

Hmm looking at my list I need to add about another ten titles, that I haven't been bothered to add.

Jet Set Radio is a great one.

Also if you want a Resident Evil type game you might like Blue Stinger.

Sword of the Berserk

Dynamite Cop

Power Stone

Ok here's what I think I want based on your feedback:

Bangai-O
Blue Stinger
Cannon Spike
Dynamite Cop
Evolution: The World of Sacred Device
Evolution 2
Giga Wing
Giga Wing 2
Gunbird 2
Jet Grind Radio
KAO the Kangaroo
Marvel vs Capcom
Omikron: The Nomad Soul
Ooga Booga
Phantasy Star Online
Phantasy Star Online Ver. 2
Prince of Persia: Arabian Nights
Seventh Cross Evolution
Skies of Arcadia
Slave Zero
Sonic Adventure
Super Magnetic Neo

I know you all think that I should get typing of the dead but that would mean I would need to get the keyboard as well and I just can't justify that for one game.  At least not right now.

You could always get that on PC.  It's awesome.  I'm still trying to get my hands on a copy to replace the one I (stupidly) sold off in the Great PC Game Cull of the mid 00s.

And for the DC, just to let ya know... I bought TotD brand new off ebay for something like $12 and I bought my keyboard used at a local used game shop for $10 or $12, I can't remember exactly. But you should easily be able to find the game and keyboard for less than $30. But I do understand not wanting to buy a keyboard for just one game.

Good Luck hunting, partner!

Huh...interesting. It actually sounds like a lot of fun, too bad I don't own a Wii. :(

Hmm, that looks pretty cool.  Shame it's on Wii though, my guitar controllers are only on 360 :(

Even if the game sucks... consider me sold! That looks like the best use of a guitar peripheral I've seen in a loooong time. Now I can't wait for that game to come out. Thanks for the link duncanr2n!
