Another question about flagging

So I read the sticky and saw flagging was for more serious situations. Is there a case where a user could flag something not because they want someone modded, but because they want something brought to the mods attention. Like a necro thread or derailing posts that are completely off topic.

Yes, you can think of flagging as another way to communicate with the moderator team. We can tell what the context of a flag is, but if you would like to explicitly say what the nature of the flagging is, feel free to send us a PM.
