ME Movie - Actors who could play characters

Okay, so there's been a bit of hype over the proposed Mass Effect movie the past few months.

I'm keen to know who you think can play certain characters (even Krogan!)

So post a picture of an actor and which character you think they could portray.

I've always thought that Udina looked like Tony Plana

'yvonne strahovoski' should play miranda. Actually-the character Miranda is modelled after her. By the way the chance of miranda in first mass effect movie is very less.

Yup yup, she's the model all right. Which means she'd probably play Miranda in the second movie anyway. If not... well. It wouldn't be the first time :P

Whilst I'm not really a fan, Megan Fox could make a convincing Jack. 

Or, I think we'd all prefer Natalie Portman. Or Robin Tunney. Or even a completely bald Selma Blair?

I agree with Natalie Portman there. Her V for Vendetta look completely reminded me of Jack. :P 

So like everybody is aware that movies unfortunately don't have the power that videogames do of customizing your character's face. So I guess we'll have to go with John Shepard who is modeled after Mark Vanderloo.'

Yes though! For the movie, he'd be absolutely perfect haha. The character models' models are always perfect! :P

Nice! I don't know who that is, but she looks like she could do a great job! And as far as Shepard goes, I think Matthew Fox was just a rumor, but it'd be really nice for him to get the part. The guy Shepard is modeled after is just that... a model, not an actor.

I think some of the voice actors would be a great pick for their characters; some like Joker and Anderson.

Yeah, the voice actors don't really look like them but I still think Seth Green and Keith David should play Joker and Anderson...

But if the movie does take place during the First Contact War...well...Anderson would be pretty young...and Keith David ain't that young...

I don't know why but whenever I see Thane, I think of Jude Law...doesn't make much sense...they don't look or sound alike...

The only guy I think I can actually see playing Thane would have to be Doug Jones...

They would have to put a lot of make-up and prosthetics on an actor to play a Drell and he does a lot of that stuff...

Here's just a few characters he has played:

He is kind of skinny...and now that I think about it...he might actually be able to play Thane...a Quarian (maybe Veetor)...and Mordin...in the same movie!

He's played multiple creatures in a few different movies...

Doug played 'Fauno' and the 'Pale Man' in Pan's Labyrinth

He played 'Abe Sapien' and 'Angel of Death' in Hellboy 2: The Golden Army

I really think it should be a CG movie...but really good CG...not 'cartoony'...

If it was live-action, most of it would likely be CG, anyway...

But if the whole thing was CG, all of the characters could be voiced by their original actors...

Just thought of another one...not sure why this one popped into my head...

I've heard her pull off accents similar to Tali's...plus, you could probably see her eyes through the visor, just like Tali...

I was just watching a new show called 'The Event' and there was a scene where one of the 'bad guys' was in a nice suit and smoking a cigarette...and he looked so much like The Illusive Man...

The actor's name is D.B. Sweeney...if they can't get Martin Sheen to play TIM in the movie, I think this guy might be able to do it...

Square-Enix's Advent Children CG was gorgeous. It is the way to make a movie based on a game that dosn't stink. Plus All the characters would look exactly like there game counterparts!

The game is basically a CG movie... its the same with Final Fantasy :P

Its not that, its just that, I have never seen him do a sci-fi type role. A director I actually thought about was JJ Abraham, the guy who did the 2009 Star Trek movie, I thought he did a really great job with that.
