Anyway, I wonder if Hackett's approval of Turian Dreadnoughts has something to do with the Reapers...maybe he knows that they're a threat...or maybe it has something to do with the Batarians...

Nope, it finished in January. There was a week of posts before Arrival DLC and there will be another week (or two, can't remember) before ME3

When you play Mass Effect 2 online, a short ficitional news article shows up on the main menu...the news article changes daily...at least, that was the case in the first year that ME2 was out...they stopped after one year but occasionally bring it back for a week or so on the eve of a new DLC...they'll be bringing it back before ME3 releases...

It will likely be fictional news articles that explain strange happenings and/or events leading up to the beginning of Mass Effect 3's story...

Wow, thanks. I consider myself a hardcore Mass Effect fan and I've played many times while on XBL but I've never gotten those fictional news articles. Of course I didn't play online during the first year after ME2 came out so maybe that is why but I still feel kinda jipped!!

So...Reapers...not at all a concern to the Council...even though Soverign attacked the Citadel and almost destroyed them (or did destroy the old Council)...but the Quarians possibly being able to create Dreadnought-scale weaponry is a problem?

The Council needs to get its priorities straight. :P

I wonder what BS they're gonna pull when asking for their help in ME3...

Pretty annoying how BioWare said the ANN would run the same as CDN ran for ME2 and it never happened :(
