Flower is really hard to understand without playing it yourself.

Flower really can't be explained, the basics can, but the reason that flower is fun and worth the purchase really has to be played to get what flower offers. Flower is a game that lets you play as the wind, blowing flower pedals into other flowers, making those flowers bloom pulling one of the flower pedals off and fly through the air with you, making your mass of flower pedals bigger and bigger, more pedals dosen't do anything other than look really cool, but the thats really the point of flower. After blooming the flowers the grass around those flowers turns from sickly brown or gray or what have you to some pretty color, not always green. After turning the land all pretty again, and healing something big, such as a big tree, then you fly into a big wind tornado you finish the level and unlock another level. And actually flower is really an amazing game, it is zen and peaceful and actually very fulfilling, the sound is beautiful, as are the visuals, and the motion controls work without a hitch. If that dosen't sound fun than your not alone, but if you give it a chance and you don't like it than you have no soul. But after playing flower for about 2 hours and really just felt all warm and fuzzy inside, I saw the credits.......and just sat back and thought, "wow, it's really over?" mostly because it was so fun, but I was just so suprised by how short the game was, just over 2 hours long. And if you think to yourself that it's $10 it isn't all that bad because it is highly replayable, so you will play it at least twice, but still thats pushing it, only being about 2-3 hours long from start to finish. If you have a spare $10 then go ahead, if you feel good playing a fantastic game, but for only 2 hours or so. But there are better games out there for your money. Thats realy the only problem I had with flower, it's just sooooooooooooo short, thats really it.
