An enjoyable remake of a classic PSOne game.

I got the game for about $15 or $16 at Gamestop. Thought that was a good price. The game has a steep learning curve that would annoy newbies. Even I had a hard time when I started playing it, but after a while I got the hang of it. The storyline and characters kept me hooked. The game is about Ramza, a noble, and Delita, a commoner, and their friendship. It also has poltical intrigue. This remake did a great job of adding new scenes to reveal the backstory of some of the characters and going into better detail of events seen through Ramza's eyes. At the beginning, the story may seem kinda slow but it gets interesting as the game progresses. The story is hard to understand at times for some people, but still enjoyable. Also, I love the cel-shaded anime cutscenes. The fights are challening & fun. Love the fact you can recruit secret characters like Cloud from FF7, Balthier from FF12, and several others. The customization of your units is great & kinda fun too. Also, two new jobs can be unlocked called the Onion Knight & the Dark Knight. The game also has multiplayer and melee, where you can find rare items like the armor for the Onion Knight. It's hard to put this game down. Despite some of FFTactics's flaws, it's a great game to have for a Final Fantasy fan or a fan of strategy games.
