A good package that will suit both fans and new fans
Let´s start with Final Fantasy IV(II in America because this was released as the second game in the Final Fantasy series in America)The story sees the dark knight Cecil commander of Red Wings Barons elite force however things dosént go so well as Cecil and one of the members of Red Wings sets of to a town at that town it gets destoryed and the only survivors are Cecil and a Summoner girl called Rydira Cecil teams up with her even though his obtjevte is to kill her which leads to a massive amount of problems.
The gameplay is the normal type of FF gameplay and it Active Time Battle which works pretty well also the graphics and the sounds are pretty good however there are problems with FFIV on PSone it has some slowdown problems especially in the battles and it also have some muffled sound effects also the game isínt the best FF game the characters you have in your party are limteded it´s a little slow and a little hard(especially in a later battle which i won´t spoil for you but you better have brought many Hi-Potions)and the story isínt all that good.
The game contains extras from the japanise version which includes the missing items commands and other features that had been removed from the American SNES version it also contains a new translation of the game so this version makes it the best version.
Overall FFIV is a great game that should please FF fans(one word to newcomers FFIV revovels are crystals which players have heard so much about in FFIX) score 8.7
Chrono Trigger is also a port of a SNES game however unlike FFIV Chrono Trigger has been released in America so it dosént contains any news things expect for a Anime intro and ending extras mode which contains music player movie browser and more however unlocking all of the extras requries you to complete the game serval times(which RPG hardcore players probaly will do because there´s serval endings).
The story follows Chrono a normal which get´s invovled with Time Traveling and more it´s interstring and fun to follow.
However Chrono Trigger too has some problems that wasént found in the SNES version the PSone version has long loading times(not between places)however this still make the PSone version the best version. score 9.5
Overall Final Fantasy Chronicles are a very good package though the games have some problems they should´net prevent you from getting the games both games are great you really should get this package now!
