Waiting for next year!
To tell you the truth, I've stopped playing Fifa after 2006 (it was pretty good), and moved to the competetors (Konami). Every year I play the Fifa game hoping to find something special, making me come back to it.
But this year, FIFA 2010 was just disappointing! Especially after all the advertisment claiming there are improved graphics, AI, etc.
I have some things to say about the game.
In my opinion, graphics look as it is borrowed from ten years ago. On max resulotion and high details and the field still looks like a green carpet. I'm not sure if this was intended, or it is a graphic glitch; in any case, the makers should work on it alot more if they want to compete with the Pro Evolution Soccer graphics. Players do not look as themselves from a distance.
The players run in a slow funny way, and the keeper movement is slow and stupid; this is a thing that will the fans of fast play will not like.
On the other hand, players have pretty nice moves that you rarely see in PES.
Gameplay is still the same, which is good.
Scenes are ok.
I played Madden as well, and I think that if they put as much effort in this game as in the Maddens, then we'll have something good at our hands.
This year, I'm gonna stick with PES10. Not that it is better in many ways (it has its many problems as well) but it is more playable than FIFA 2010. I hope 2011 will be better.
