I had high expectations for this game since EA had promised a huge change in the core gameplay and improve graphics to almost same as NEXT-GENERATION console versions. Compared with 07 and 08, only the graphics has been improved. The rest remains almost the same! Manager mode has not changed much, gameplay still remains the same with the robotic movements. Shooting is bad too. Only 4 new tricks has been added. The online mode is the worst part of the game, you cannot chat in the lobby anymore, only in the games you or someone else created. You will still encounter quitters that steals your points, laggy games, longballs to fast attackers (offside trap never works here, it happened back in 07 and 08 so EA never tried to fix it), corner bugs, dumb goalies, you name it. Stay away from this game unless you want to waste $40.
So yeah, everybody knows that fifa on pc since 06 just suck, so when EA told us that 09 would be "next-gen" with new graphics and new gameplay we all went nuts... I'm afraid to say that EA talks crap the gameplay may be ... Read Full Review
