Broken, is really the best way to explain this game. What a shame!
this game is a huge disappointment and I will explain it in a way that every soccer fan will understand.
Every single player feels like they are 10 years old and have seen a soccer ball for the first time, I can make an hour long montage of all the stuff that goes wrong and a professional soccer player would never do in just ONE GAME!
The first touch is broken
Defending is broken
Heading the ball is broken
Lead passing is broken
so much more that is broken:
Example of the mentioned broken things...
Sprinting and First touch....A player like Robben, Ribery, Aguero, Reus and many more NEVER run and pretend like the soccer ball is a bomb at the same time. in real life they sprint as if the ball is glued to their foot. in this game the ball is all over the place, It's like when you were a kid and you would try to see how fast you can run and kick a water bottle at the same time.
Headers.. I recently played a game and saved the replay of the goals where I scored 3 goals with robben and ribery. and I lost because Messi scored 4 headers from crosses.
5'7'' MESSI scored a header over 6'4'' DANTE AND BADSTUPPER ... seriously? heading in the game is so overpowered that when your playing people online they immediately go to the wing player and sprint down as fast as they can and try to cross and score a header THAT'S IT. That's all online is!!!
the list goes on and on!!!! It gets much much much worse!!! and not to mention the fact that they took out how you are able to leave the game online without a loss in the first 5 minutes, so if you're matched up with someone who is using AOL internet from the 80's and the connection is constantly freezing, You're stuck playing him, if you leave, it's a loss. REALLY?!
these were all issues in fifa 13 as well but they were not as bad as fifa 14, FIFA 14 should have been the predecessor to FIFA 13.
Please do yourself a favor and save your $60. Xbox One and PS4 are coming out, you will need it.
