Problem with the sound ruined the experience for me

I really tried to continue with FC3. I enjoyed the FC2 and I spent time watching early previews for the third entree. It started out fine, the game is beautiful, the story is decent, and the combat is exciting.

However, the sound would cut in and out continuously while playing which ruined whatever positives I had while playing. This made it impossible to enjoy and even to play as you have to be able to hear your environment to take down enemies and hunt animals. I looked up tips to fix the problem. I logged myself off to play offline, re-installed the game, and tinkered around with my sound settings on my system. No matter what I tried, nothing worked.

It's too bad, without the sound trouble FC3 looked like it would have took me on fun journey. Somethings aren't meant to be I guess.
