Fable is a perfect combination between a serious game and a fun, wonderful and magic adventure!
Some missions are like playable Monty Python movies - in fact - in the third game of the series there are missions written by Monty Pythons John Cleese himself! The game has also managed to add magic to the game without making the game look cheesy.
The games fighting mechanics are maybe not the best to find in an RPG but they are just as good as they need to be.
The games graphics are also very good for being such an old game.
One thing that makes this game different is the many things to do besides the over 200 quests. Demon Doors, for example, are doors that gives you tasks and when the task is completed you can enter and get the reward inside. One door 4 example tells you that you must be so god that a halo shines over your head. Or if you don't want to become a saint you can just hold a lantern in front of your face, and the fact that the door is made of stone it won't notice any difference and let you in :)
There are also countless of chests to open and 50 silver keys to find. With the keys you can open metal chests that require that you have a certain amount of keys.
And over 15 legendary weapons will gladly keep you looking in every corner and house you can find
One thing with the Fable series is the fact that every game involves kicking chickens! One thing I've spent some time on is to kick chickens into seas and rivers!
Fable is without questioning the best RPG I've ever played, and is a must
have for every gamer!
