Very good game, a (very) few flaws.
I just received this game in the post yesterday, if you haven't ordered it and you like either Formula 1 OR driving games do it now. The game's menus are slick and easy to operate. the whole caravan thing does work inside but outside it is not quite so good.
Now, for those of you who were worried that the handling would be like DiRT 2's, it isn't. (If there are any people who didn't like DiRT 2 except me) The handling is precise but not too twitchy. I hated the handling in DiRT 2 but I really like the handling in this game.
One of the best things in the game is that you do not have to win to be satisfied. Even finally battling your way into the points is elating. Each race is fairly long and it does feel good crossing the line in a decent position (of course winning is even better but not necessary). The team-mate rivalry works well except in a few occasions most notably when you are in a low-end team and you beat him by miles.
The most annoying thing in the whole game is the fact that if you pit at the same time as everybody else you are in for frustration. You will be forced to sit and wait while every Tom, Dick and Harry flys past. This will inevitably lead to losing a good few places and a lot of shouting.
This aside, the game is extremely good for pure driving and enjoyment and would be a worthy addition to any gamer's collection.
