Really, Really good... The best hockey there ever was! You have to buy this game even if you hate hockey or sports games
Gameplay: HOLY! This game gets soooooooooo hard when you play in pro!
I have compared this game to NHL 2K6 on Xbox 360, and the difficulty is so much harder in 2K5 then it was in 2K6. The skills that you can do are just awesome. But ESPN has added wayyyyy too much skills that you can just simply forget and jus keep checking people etc. The checking system is much too unrealistic and easy and you have to keep yourself from getting bored in the difficulty, Amatuer.... I found out that in season, if you never lose and you have a perfect record, in the beginning of November, a player will het an injury called "A pinched nerve" and the game will freeze.. Other then those, the gamplay is fantastic. Oh yeah you can buy some arena to play in like Circus, Wild West, Medieval, Space Station, Parking lot...
Graphics: The player's faces are un recognisable, but it is all right, you can see the ice scratch marks, the crowd (They practically don't wear their team's jersey and they don't have faces), the score board thing... they are all good..
Sound: The commentators do a really horrible job commentating and you hear the same lines again, again, and again... The crowd boos when their home team gets a penalty which is really unconviencing... They cheer whenever you make a succesful shot and whenver the goalie blocks a shot.
The Home goal sound is different from every arena so it is awesome...
Value: This game is not just worth buying, but it is a game that you have to buy.... I didn't buy this game I got it as a present so I don't know the price....
Tilt: I personally love this game. I keep playing every year the playoffs begin and this game won't tire you... Well if you only play as Amateur or Rookie it might but... Yeah...
