I've got to say i disagree with Gamespot on this one, it does do jsutice to the Matrix World
This game is good, very good.
It's simple, you play two members of a sister ship of the Nebuchadnezzar (neo’s ship), the Logos. You can choose to be Niobe and Ghost. Niobe a smart thinking, quick talking woman with absolutely kickass cool hair. Ghost a Chinese assassin type hardly ever talks but can do amazing Kung-fu moves. The storyline for matrix purists is very good, it's smart and intertwining, and their is a good vary of driving and shooting/plat forming.
The graphics in my opinion are pretty good, with the actual players (niobe/ghost) clothes and guns being very nicely done.
Everything you want from a Matrix game is their, a variety of moves loadsa weapons, many people claim the absence of Neo makes it hard to play this is rubbish.
The game play itself is good, maybe a bit too easy. The focus and your health regenerate itself, and you will find yourself doing all sorts of moves before you know it. Now I know what you’re thinking, this is just like Max Payne. However the Hacking part of Enter the Matrix is amazing. It's a bit like working through levels to get bonus extras. You hack the system to get info on agents/characters, artwork and the best thing, to install a katana into your game this makes the game incredibly fun as you chop up every police officer in site.
Generally pleasing and you'll find yourself playing it again and again
Bad points, the driving section is atrocious so is a level where you have to take out a tyre with a sniper rifle
Otherwise you'll find yourself jacking in for ages
