Now, this is the second Earthbound or "Mother" game in the series. The first was on the NES and both are much more popular in Japan. But this game truly rocks. It’s a standard RPG game. You kill baddies and gain experience points, every so many experience points (which increase for every level) you gain a level and your stats grow. There are a variety of weapons and trinkets that you can use throughout the game. At first, this game is a bit slow, but after the second major boss is when the game took off for me. Also, it got significantly harder. The music is unique and very distinctive, also very addictive. The game play is very very easy. You only really need to buttons, the L and the B button. Oh, and the directional pad, but that doesn't count. Anyway, get out there and give this game a try. It takes about 40 to 50 hours to get all the way through, and you'll enjoy every minuet of it.
