an incredible game. it marked my childhood.

This was one of the best SNES's RPG's ever made, but sadly, not many know of it.
Where to start... The first time I played this game, I was about 8-10 years old and I went to blockbuster, rented the game because it had a weird box and I liked the pictures *Go figure*(Ps. I didn't know s**t about RPG's then) I played it and thought it was stupid.... Christmas came around and my dad bought it for me because he thought I liked it, I said what the hell, I'm gonna play it if he bought it. And I'm damn glad I did.

This game essentially got me into RPG's, except this one was quite different, it was sent in a very modern date, (Except there was only like... 1 t.v. in the whole game? lol) Your weapon selection's varied from yoyo's and baseball bat's, to frying pan's bottle rocket's and air guns. The storyline in this game was great, it was very new and unheard of. You a kid from some town which seemed to be in "England", atleast it was a pretty good hint. Anyways, a meteor crashes down, you go to check it out, it doesn't really seem like a big deal, but animal's in the area become vicious and angry, even towns folk (ex.the retro hippie")

*SPOILER*-

The meteor happened to be Gigas, the boss of the game, who was a being from the past that came to this time to destroy earth, as all bad guy's do. And it's your job to get your red cap, baseball bat to kick some ass.

The music in the game was very origional, I liked almost all of it, but some got annoying at times... Which is why the game won't be a perfect 10 to me, I rated sound a 9. But the gameplay is easy and addictive, the replay on this game is very weird, because after you beat it, you have the strange urge to play it again and collect ALL the rare items... ex. Sword of King's from the dungeon in "Winters"

But the game is near flawless, quirky character's, funky setting's and music to match, this game is nothing but great for anyone who enjoy's having a fun game. RPG fan or not, it's great. This game may seem "Childish" to some, but that's also a bunch of bs, this game has good enough everything to make this game worth while to even a "matured" RPG fan.

I say, if you don't own or never plan on playing it.... You can't call yourself an RPG fan.
