Like killing people? Like killing LOTS ofpeople? Then this is definitely a game for you.
This is one of those games that when you first start playing it seems a little lame, but if you keep it up and eventually upgrade a general until they're a frickin god, it gets pretty fun.
The free mode and challenge modes offer a bit of fun to go along with the main storyline. The main storyline pretty much consists of 4 major dynasties fighting for control. You pick a general, and then you go through a series of battle in which you fight for your dynasty, make your general and his bodyguards stronger, and obtain new weapons and items. Free mode simply lets you go back to any battle, pick any general you want, and the pick any side you want to be on. Challenge mode has two little "games" that you can play. The first is "survivor mode", in which you run around killing thousands of enemies that re-spawn and gradually get stronger until you die. The second mode is "time trial", in which you try to kill 100 enemies as fast as possible.
Overall, the graphics and game-play in dynasty warriors 3 are pretty good, all it's really lacking in is a slightly dry soundtrack.
