Dynamite cop is a decent arcade port but with no extras it's not got much value

Dynamite cop is an unlicensed sequel to die hard arcade which most sega fans would know was a huge hit on the sega Saturn. Dynamite cop is a 3d arcade fighting game which lets say takes you through certain areas in where you fight bad guys, these fights can be fun due to the variety of items you can pick up and throw at bad guys, also there are guns to use e.g. a laser gun, handgun or an anti-tank missile!. One you run around and beat the bad guys in certain areas you will see your character run to the next battle which sometimes on your way for example a guy will pop out a door and it may tell you to kick or punch him, by doing the correct command you will advance on, if not you may be left to fight more bad guys. You play as 3 guys of some special forces team sent onboard a ship to rescue the president's daughter and take down all terrorists, speaking of the terrorists there pirates. The game is not very linear in terms of game play at the start of the game you have 3 choices of infiltrating the ship, these paths vary in terms of difficulty like for example one will make you have infinite credits the other around 9 and the last only 5 or so. But the end to these paths are all different, speaking of endings this game is very short it can be finished in under 25 minutes in your first play through the hardest path will take about 35 minutes but it's still very short. Multi-player in dynamite cop is up to 3 players and is great fun with friends and has a vs mode to beat the crap out of each other. The graphics in Dynamite cop are pretty nice for an arcade game and it runs at a smooth frame-rate as promised by all Sega arcade ports. The sound is pretty simple a nice library of sound effects with a decent background score. The only flaws with dynamite cop are probably the biggest being that its very short and that its basically the exact same game as the arcade so if you played the arcade version and finished that a number of times then you are better off giving this a miss.
