Is this really the Ps3 port we've been waiting for?

User Rating: 7.5 | Dungeon Hunter: Alliance PS3
I've only been playing this game for a few hours today, but i've been a huge fan of the Ipod touch versions of this game. Been dying for this games release.

So earlier today i had heard the game released a few nights before, i was excited and downloaded the copy, played a few hours with local play and 2 friends of mine.
The game took a nice start to it, but it grew alittle boring pretty quickly, my two friends dropped out after about an hour or two of playing.

I continued to play in the evening.

But as i found myself playing, small groups of mobs were really easy to take down on my warrior, but as soon as i entered the sewer level, i kept seeing myself come close to dying, almost every 2-3 trash packs.
The game jumped in level of difficulty in seconds, i was stunned to see how annoyingly hard this game went within one new area difference.

I managed to clear this sewer level, to find myself heading into an even harder area right after. I got to the point where i was becoming tired, and easily annoyed, so i turned the game off for the night.

The game has some nice improvement, graphic wise it's great.

Pros;
Update graphics
Nice to play on a big screen, instead of the small hand held.
Local and Online play
Easy set of buttons
Able to reset talents and skill points for a fee
Game becomes harder and more rewarding with friends
Auto selling items based on their rareity (White, green, blue, purple, gold)

Cons;
Only 3 classes
Game difficult jumps up and down depending on luck and pack size
Sometimes a minor lag in graphics at times
Neeing to carry healing/mana pots with you at all times to be able to progress.
Loot is random, you can have a great stream of loot, then nothing for ages

The game is worth the download, i will still play my copy, hopefully i will go online tomorrow, as my friends lost interest right away. This should be able to give me some progress in the storyline, or character building.

Edit;

After playing this game for a few more hours, it showed it had some awkward RNG (random number generation) on what amount of dmg you take from each hit.
I managed to get to lvl 30 on my own, and my friends wanted to continue playing, so i ended up boosting them through the starting missions (one friend was lvl 9 rogue, other was 19 mage).

So we ended up boosting the lvl 9 rogue through the 2nd area of the game. My friend who was playing the mage, was taking huge amount of dmg from mobs of lvl 7, he was almost being one shooted by these mobs, even though being 12 lvls higher....

I noticed the same thing, but with mobs around my lvl, or on par of my lvl were able to do the same thing. Walk into a group of mobs and walk away with a few uses of the potion. Other times, you walk into the same group of mobs, before you could count to 4, you have died.

This is mainly the only issue i have with Dungeon Hunter Alliance, if this was to be fixed, then the game would be alot more fair at times, because usually when this happens, your just questioning "what the hell just went on?"

Anyways, i'll continue with the possitive of my review on this game.

I'm starting to enjoy this game alot more now, after getting through the bad. Playing a warrior myself, i knew how the class would be from the original Ipod version of the game.
If your one of the original players, you would know about stat twisting for different classes, instead of just going for the full stat the game recommends, your going for Strength and Dexterity, so you can wield huge strong 2handed weapons in a main hand while you got a quick, fire procing offhand dagger designed for a rogue.

Since playing from lvl 20-30, and getting certain talents, the game has held very little difficulty, as i can just nuke my way through crowds of mobs and bosses alike.

The game is still great, but there are plenty of moments where your getting annoyed due to this RNG hit rating, or other little buggy things.
