Dragon Quest VIII is the kind of game that's nearly perfect in every aspect. The story is deep and rich while the characters are easy to identify with and tend to grow on you.The character designs and graphics are wonderful and a sight to behold. The musical score suits the mood of the story most of the time. The best part of all is the fact that there's so much to do in Dragon Quest VIII with numerous side quests alongside the main story. The fighting system is solid and stays true to traditional RPG battles. Now with the pros said, it's time to move onto the cons. The dungeons are simplistic with no challenge or puzzles. Enemies are unoriginal at times seeing how some are different color sprites of other enemies. But other than that, Dragon Quest VIII is a marvelous game. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a good RPG with lots to do.
