A great example of why you should listen to player's reviews and not game site's reviews.

User Rating: 9.5 | Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 X360
I am a huge Dragonball Z fan. I didn't watch the original DB, I grew up with Z and watched a bit of GT. So I find it hard to bring my self to complain about any DBZ game. I try and make my own fun out of a DBZ game somehow. Imagination is the key.

However, Raging Blast 2 I don't have to try and make my own fun because the game offers the full excitement of a Dragonball Z battle. I can honestly say that if you are a Dragonball Z fan and insist this is a terrible Dragonball Z game that doesn't capture any essence of the TV series fighting, then there MAY (yes, I said MAY, so I am not implying) be something wrong with you.

GRAPHICS - Graphics is my second favourite factor for this game because they look well designed and unique to the majority of games out today. Just because a game doesn't make a character look as humanly realistic where you can see sweat coming from the skin as possible, doesn't mean the graphics are bad. These look lovely and very welcoming on the old eyes :)

SOUND - My personal favourite thing about Dragonball Z games is the music. As long as you have some upbeat tracks, or some nostalgic sounding DBZ themes (kind of like Tracking Dragonball from the first Raging Blast) then it adds to the adrenaline of the gameplay. The game includes alot of music but it is a shame you cannot select which track you want to be played during an Online Versus like in the first game.

ONLINE - An amazing part of this game. There comes a time when A.I. opponents can do all they can do. What better way than fighting against a human player as your favourite DBZ characters. The battles can be intense, you can sweat and you will get pummled. But its worth it for the experience. The fighting system is no joke. It is deeper than alot of people think and advanced players will enjoy learning new ways to fight.

CONTENT - This game is praised and bashed at the same time for its enourmous fan based content. There are LOADS of characters to play as, excluding transformations. You will be shocked when you access the character select screen. I feel this is just what we wanted since the first game. Having more characters means online battles will include a variety of different fighters and not the same ones that usually happened in the first game. So far I have had over 20 online battles (including tags) and I can say I haven't faught Vegito once but instead, alot of unusual fighters such as Nail and Cui. So I am happy. However, this game is bashed by "Big" game sites because of its content JUST for fans and not for everybody. All I can say for that is... why do they give games like Forza 3, Halo Reach, Call of Duty such high ratings??? I'm sure the content in those games are specifically for Car fans, shooter fans. HALO fans??? See my point? I personally think some reviewers should be fired.

Final Verdict........... For any beginner brave enough and has enough courage to give this game a chance, I respect you. But please take the training mode first because button bashing at this means you will eventually have a Spirit Bomb thrown at your face.

There are plenty of nice people online and clans online that will train you and teach you new techniques. That is the beauty of this game. Even if the online community isn't as big as some other games like COD, Halo... it still possess one of the most friendly communities on Xbox live. People enjoy to battle, and train each other. A very good game for me and enjoyable experience.

Oh and one last thing to point out to you game websites. Bashing this game because you feel it isn't much of a step forward from the previous game may seem like your a hypocrit. Heres why... Halo Reach (a good game by the way for me) gets 9's out of 10. Why? Is it that massively different from Halo 3 or is it because you are just a massive fan of Halo? I'll let you decide.
