So so presentation and gameplay

I would reccomend you get this game in the buus fury/transformation 2 in 1 pack or you may be alittle disappointed. Well this game is supposed to cover from the begining of dragon ball gt to the end of the baby saga. This may sound good right? wrong. Well there was so much of the focus on the black star dragon balls saga, i suppose the developers ran out of room and really cheaped out on the baby saga portion. You go to planet to planet which are levels in this game. Each planet takes around 4-10 minutes. There are about 10-15 planets. So this makes this game beatable in less than an hour. The challenge value is pretty good as the enemys are pretty smart surprisingly.

The controls are where this game falls flat on its nose. If you try to move and use another control, for the most part neither will work at all. There really are no combos as all you do is punch and kick and use energy moves. Almost sounds cool doesnt it? Actually its not as the most you can do with the energy move you get is charge it up. The characters themselves are very similar. The one thing that distinguishes the 2 are just character sizes and a few move changes.

The presentation is a mixed bag. The graphics and animation are probably the best thing on the gba ever. Now the music is where it fails. Theres a variety of music in transformation, but its so dull, for the most part, it gets boring very very fast.

Even if you are a hardcore you should check this out alittle more to see if its for you. If you like double dragon, you could probably like this game as well. Its deffinately a different take on the ongoing story of gba dragon ball games, but its not too bad. A few extra months and this game could have been a classic if it wasnt for the control buggs and lack of moves.
