Not a bad game, a great way to live through Goku’s early adventures.

User Rating: 8 | Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure GBA
Dragonball Advance Adventures goes through the entire Dragonball saga, so in case you hope to play as Trunks or Vegeta you can forget it.
You will play as kid Goku and will be platforming in places, beating bad guys along the way.

Story: Long ago, there were magical balls forged by God, these balls were called Dragon Balls. Collecting 7 of these magic balls will grant anyone a single wish, however finding these balls is another story. Many went in search for these balls in order to have their wish granted.
A young boy named Goku lived in the mountains in peace until one day a girl named Bulma approached the mountains in search of the Dragon Balls. Without knowing, Goku had one of the balls. Bulma promised to return the ball once she finished using them, but Goku insisted that he couldn’t leave the ball in her hands so he decided to journey with her in search of the 7 balls.

Game Design: You will play as kid Goku, you will basically be platforming from one end to the other. You will beat up enemies and will face boss battles (which are bad guys Goku faced like Yamcha and Piccolo).
There are many environments, with nice drawn graphics and will also unlock other characters later on; there are also great mini games like flying with your cloud and more.

Game play: You will have punches and kicks at first but will later learn new moves such as the magic staff and Goku’s trademark Kame Hame Ha attack, though the button combinations can be a drag since the GBA is limited to 4 buttons.
Like mentioned before you will later also unlock other characters and they also come with their own unique abilities.

Sound: You will hear some of the local voices of the characters and the music is pretty awesome, though not to a memorable extent.

Dragonball Advance Adventure is a must for Dragonball fans no doubt, and those who like platformers or beat’em ups should also consider giving this game a try.
Though one complain I have about the game is that it’s a bit short and doesn’t really feel as long as the Dragonball series.
Regardless there are plenty of re-play values and the fights are fast paced and exciting, this is one of the better Dragonball games so you should give it a try.
