So it's educational... well, sort of.

User Rating: 9.6 | Donkey Kong Jr. no Sansuu Asobi NES
Wow, I had no idea that the son of a chest beating primate actually had the extended potential of multiplying, adding, subtracting, and dividing (wink, wink). So he's good now? Only a little. There is no 1 player play on this game. You have to play multiplayer with a math magician of a friend. Anyways, there is a number at the top of the screen. by using a series of numbers and math signs, you mst reach that exact number before your opponent does. What happens if you don't get the number before your opponent, you ask? Well, you die! Exactly, you heard me right. Your DK Jr. begins to spin around in the place you were in when the number was found and falls out of the scree, then you lose one life from your total. So, not only does it teach players how to multiply, add, subtract, and divide, it also teaches you to save your life with mathletics. I wonder if the ESRB rated it with "violence"? Just because you can't go up against the computer in this game doesn't mean you can't add, subtract, multiply, and divide to you heart's content alone. No, you can start a game, then get the number yourself while 2P stands motionless and dies afterwards. Oh, and i forgot to tell you, this game can be won only by getting the best 2 out of 3. After that, you watch your DK Jr. do a little 8-bit dance and get to play again. Is that not cool?
