Good
- Fantastic platforming
- perfect difficulty balance
- the buddies are an awesome addition
- a healthy amount of collectables and hidden secrets
- memorable soundtrack
- there's a variety of stage properties that makes the platforming interesting like barrels, tire bounces, mine carts, on/off lights, fuel platforms, ropes and more.
- the different play styles of diddy and donkey in combination with the partner system added a lot of depth to the game
- the graphics are amazing for snes era
- wide variety of locales
- controls are crisp and smooth. Any deaths i could only blame myself
- a lot nostalgia personally for me for this game. Played a lot with my cousin when i was a kid
Bad
- I felt the save points were a little too sparse. Especially when you went to a new world, and had to beat like 4 levels before you could unlock Candy kong
