This tribute to the Final Fantasy franchise is a great game in its own right.

User Rating: 8.5 | Dissidia: Final Fantasy PSP
Dissidia Final Fantasy is an expansive fighting game/ JRPG hybrid that delivers in almost every aspect. The combat is a two-tiered system. There are two kinds of attacks: Bravery Attacks and HP attacks. Bravery Attacks take away your opponent's bravery, and add bravery to your pool. HP attacks drain your enemies health, and deal as much damage as your current bravery. This creates an interesting balance that keeps combat unique. The graphics are simply stunning. They look better than anything on the PSP and are on par with the best looking games on the PS2. It shouldn't be forgotten that this is a Final Fantasy game. There is extensive leveling for each character, and command mode that provides and interesting hybrid of the energetic fighting of this title with the older Final Fantasy games. The most impressive aspect of this game is how much content this game has. There is 11 story campaigns, 20 fighters with individual leveling, and two arcade modes for each fighter. There is a LOT to do here. The only blemishes on this game are that the story is paper-thin, and some later-level battles tend to overstay their welcome. All-in-all this is a game that shouldn't be missed by any PSP owners, especially Final Fantasy fans
