What's not to like?
The combat system reminds me of Kingdom Hearts with a hint of DBZ Tenkaichi. It allows you to fully interact with the environment such as wallrunning, destroying, etc.. The bravery theory takes some getting used to but it keeps the strategy in battle in place. Sometimes it can make fights either last longer or end in one or two strikes, so it could use some tinkering. As for story; it's your typical good and evil thing. It also gets incredibly cheesy at times when they mention friendship, you know...Kingdom Hearts stuff. One thing they did do right was the way every Final Fantasy hero encounters their nemesis, very nostalgic! The character personalities also stay true to the way they are.
They even tell each side of the story similar to each game. Of course, this would be much more enjoyable if it were told with more passion instead of a lifeless bore. But setting that aside, the game literally makes it so that you almost HAVE to play it everyday. Not like Nintendogs but more of like: "Hey, I wonder what new thing I'm gonna get this time!" Yeah...this game is like Square Enix's gift basket that keeps on giving. I don't even have 100% on it.
