Dissidia is back with some enhancements and some frustrations

User Rating: 7.5 | Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy PSP
Dissida Duodecim offers a weird and short story of the 12th cycle (the cycle before the Original Dissidia Story). It focuses too much on the manikins instead of their fight with chaos and his minions to end the cycle.
Here's a short review:

The good: new and fun to play characters and enhancement of the existing characters; Rebalanced characters and gameplay it self; New and useful accessories and equipment combinations; The Story 000 is Challenging; Party Battles are a great addition to the game; Assist System is also a good addition; To be able to create your own rules is also great for those who weren't satisfied with the new gameplay system; The new Arenas is also good looking and fun to play; To be able to play as a "God"(Feral Chaos); Beautiful graphics and good voice acting; To be able to create your own quests; Time attack is slightly more challenging then in the original Dissida; Arcade mode and time attack can be done with your own customized characters.

The Bad: It only has half of the boosters of the original Dissidia; Frustrating new mode called: Labyrinth; Short New and weird story and Replay of the Original Dissidia Story; Earning KP is frustrating and boring; Assist Changing and Ex Revenge are Cheap ways to quickly end a match and I think that Ex Revenge is cheaper than Ex block; Ex mode builds became too underpowered; Running around the world map is only good for listening to the soundtrack; If you don't have friends with this game to play with or can't play online the replay value is almost zero; Repetitive gameplay can make you bored really fast; Not much new; The AI still thinks like a Rock; Reports are more interesting than the actual story; The modified Bartz Lacks in moves; Frame rate issues in the European version.

Overral, the game lacks innovation.
