Disney’s The Jungle Book is another fine Virgin Interactive game, with as much challenge as Lion King, Cool Spot or any of their other SNES titles. Actually come to think of it, this game is harder than the aforementioned games. Beating Kaa the snake the first time is a challenge. If you don’t beat it and have to use a continue you’ll have to repeat the whole board again. AHHHHHH! It can get you to the point where you want to pull out your hair strand by strand with tweezers. Overall I would characterize this game as difficult yet enjoyable, and I would refute IaMnOtHeRe89’s claim that it is a pointless game. After reading his review it became apparent to me that most of his claims were just 2-D platformer bashing. Why is everybody so down on side-scrollers now? They were and are great fun for all.
