Great game, very entertaining and good at rewarding the player. Annoying consolized menu, though.

This game is amazing when you're actually racing however the menu system including the multiplayer lobbies is a horrible and timewasting piece of crap and suffers from a really bad case of consolitis and this actually puts me off playing it that much despite it being awesome once you're driving.

I love the variety of difficulty levels and have found casual to be the sweet spot for myself to keep getting podium finishes (1, 2 and 3)

The crashes and damage system make for some pretty epic smashes and the instant replay feature where you can reverse your mistakes is a pretty awesome and useful carry-over feature from GRID.

I have to say that I am very impressed overall by this game and the online play is fun especially with buddies on mic as with many other games but the menu system that allows you to get to it along with the single player gamemodes is pretty poorly designed and the automatic camera movements incorporated into it are very very annoying (i.e. looking from side to side after walking outside). Also, who had the idea to put the Options menu outside? Please, somebody chuck a brick at them.
