Well not all sequels don't come out good...

Devil May Cry 2 is a sequel from the amazing Devil May Cry and waiting for the next big hit from capcom but instead they give you Devil May Cry 2... Dante is back but better than before? No not really he still runs Devil May Cry but you don't see it you instead start off helping a girl out name Lucia which shows up later on in the game and not only that you play as her in disc 2 but which ever one you choose to play as isn't that fun still. The story isn't that great Dante DOESN'T TALK AT ALL! He only has like 5 dialogues in the WHOLE GAME that really isn't that great really. The story was really lame which nearly put me to sleep and wow I can't bare to play the second disc. Gameplay was meh the Devil Trigger was pretty cool when they added the amulet into it which you can modify the Devil Triggers powers and ability which I thought was cool but the swords... THEY WERE ALL THE SAME! No matter which sword you use the attacks even the damage they give out is the same which was retarded... the guns you will only need to stick with one which is the shotgun but the funny thing is you can basically go through the whole game with just guns even boss battles can be killed by guns... just guns. The sound effects are the same as the first one which I didn't mind but couldn't they at least improve it? After all there isn't anything bad with change. The voice acting... wait what voice acting? As I said before Dante doesn't talk at all and so do the other characters they only have a few no more than 10 dialogues so what's there to say about that? But once they talk well the suck I could bare The graphics are slightly improved they look good but about the same as the first which isn't that bad either but as I mentioned before there isn't wrong with change right? But the cut scenes are even better even though they weren't as long as 30 seconds I still give props to that. They controls are still not that great they still give you a hard time and mainly will get you in the most awkward positions. Attacking with the sword is not that hard but still sucks since trying to bust out combo moves because of the camera sucks, guns are the same so there's nothing wrong with that. The camera isn't even improved one bit it still the same as the first which causes a lot of problems and hard to kill enemies as well but over all is still not improved.
