The game need a better ending, graphic optimizing, and less invisible wall.

This game is solid, but not solid enough to go for a win. The story behind the game is unique with preserving history as the goal. However the twist where the future opposition comes to fight against you is confusing. The ending is also a major let down and biggest cliffhanger ever. Have a cut scene and a question from your old friend, "what are we going to do now?", the credit rolls. I was expecting more missions afterward too.

Having a unsatisfied story, the other component of the game squares out pretty nice. Graphic for the characters and guns are pretty decent with the exception of some low poly meshes for environment. The particles like smoke and fogs are really stressing out the gpu, without everything max out at 1680x1050 the frame rate at normal is around 55-65 but a few smoke from a musket fight will get it down to 15-20.

The invisible wall is use a lot which makes the game linear in most part. The map is really nice for a open area exploration similar to farcry 2 but the wall puts the play around to roughly 50~60%.

The upgrade system is small. Rifle and pistol only and they put the shotgun in the rifle category. Reload speed and clip size are your primary upgrade interest which makes the game much easier, and secondary would be firing rate. Accuracy is not much a problem since you can go trigger happy most of the level except for the musket fight.

With that being said, the game is as solid as it is with some issues. The lack of multiplayer really dont concern me because I don't think this game would be interesting with the weapon selection, obviously everyone will go for the futuristic weapon instead of a musket!

Minor spoiler: We didn't get to see mother at all, but I still believe she is a bot.
