Dark Cloud 2 is my favorite game of all time, period. It's the only game I ever gave a perfect score. Not because it's flawless, but because this game brought me some of the best times in gaming of my life. It's a masterpiece throughout and it gave me so much joy to remember. It was my first ps2 game, and the most beautiful and memorable. A lot of games that I play now I are easily forgettable and don't seem to present a meaning, they're good while they last but don't really mean much. Dark Coud 2 is very memorable because every sinle aspect of it is amazing and polished in it's own right. The gameplay is fun, deep and varied, the graphics are beautiful and unique, the story is long, memorable and interesting and the sound is cohesive, immersive and atmospheric. These things come together incredibly to deliver the most memorable game you will ever play. Everything feels so full of charecter and personality that it truly shows what an RPG or any game for that matter should be like. Playing this game is an experience because once you start you'll enter in a beautiful world that conveys the feeling of life and atmosphere, a feeling of immense satisfaction and attachment to the world of Dark Cloud 2.
Get this game, buy it, borrow it or rent it. Don't get it for the action or for the convoluted story, but for the art and beauty that it stands for. It's all about the experience, the experience that you will not forget. Dark Cloud 2 is a pure masterpiece, and will put you in an immersive world of expression and beauty.
