Graphics are a bit hyped, otherwise the game is brilliant.

I rate on a 0-10 scale so 5 is average and so on

Everyone was hyped about this game when the alpha gameplay came out, graphics looks stunning, but that was 2007, now its 2010, game is still worth buying, but i rather play some other shooters because graphical optimization was the key part of this game, and Crytek did a great job, however now its pretty common to see realistic graphics on few other games, Crysis is still the computer generated visuals King, however don't just buy a game for it's graphics, unless it's real cheap. Also, this game didn't really have superior graphics until mods came out.

Pros:
Best Graphics of 2007,2008,2009, probably 2010 before Crysis 2
Nice multiplayer that keeps the game running
Great Cryengine 2 that greatly expands the optimization of graphics
with mods from players

Cons:
Boring story
Still overrated

Very High GTS250 or 4870
Maxed Out Smoothly GTX280 or 5830
Make sure you can play it smoothly.
