Nice game, but lacks depth and speed after a while. Too bad they can't leverage the potential of this game.
However, combar is slow and there is little innovative on the game as it just covers the very basic of these kind of RPGs and nothing more.
Character design is nice - the voices suit the characters well, and they are drawn nicely, with 'still images' popping up as the character speaks, much like you expect from almost all Japanese RPGs.
The combat system is simple and straightforward. If an opponent is too strong, you can use items, attacks and some special attacks, but not that much possibilities to turn a battle until much later in the game where you inlocked a lot more skills.
Better suggestions for the PSP would be Disgaeia, star ocean and perhaps class of heroes if you want to spend your time on something like this.
All in all its not a bad game, just don't expect too much from it!
