I loved crackdown 1 back when it was released, it was one of the first games to ever be able to make you feel like an actual superhero. Since Crackdown 1 has been released though we have had games that push what we expect for both sandbox games and superhuman type titles. We expect a good story, Crackdown 2 story is non existent, it has interesting and well done audio logs but that is not nearly good enough. We expect mission variety, Crackdown 2 has very little. We expect an interesting sandbox to play in, it's crackdown 1's city but destroyed. Crackdown 2 is so close to being crackdown 1 that you might as well just put in CD1 and play it again. Sure at points it's fun as heck and it's a game that you might have trouble putting down, but that doesn't justify its $60 dollar price point at all. All of the problems that crackdown 1 had are present including the targeting system.

Heck some things are worse in CD2 than the original. There are no morphing cars which was really cool in CD1, and the way you're character evolves is much less interesting then the first game.

The game feels incomplete ,rushed, it's a cash grab, and to add insult to injury they are probably going to be charging money for the same DLC we got in the original for free.
