Truly Disappointing. As a fan of the originals, I am disappointed by the lack of substance in this game.

The gameplay is not that of a normal RTS, it has none of the diversity the first game and expansions had. After fighting a couple of line up and shoot battles, I was enjoying the experience of the 19th century. However, three hours into the game I found myself wanting more. This game just doesn't deliver. All it has to offer is is the realism of battle. The building of your camp/cities is not great, the aquisition of resources is somewhat boring, and the advancement of technologies within the parameters of the given historical time frame is non-existent. All consedering, just not a great game.
