Most addictive and fun RTS i've played in a long time. No doubt best in the series.
I can truly call myself hardcore fan of cossacks games. I played every single one "to death", with friends and single player. They all are truly amazing RTS games (very underrated for some reason), but Cossacks 2 blows them away.
I have to admit that at first i wasn't too sure about this game. Maybe i was a bit overwhelmed with all new things that were added to this game. More i played - more i liked it. Simplicity and micromanaging are the key to make this game one of the best and addicting RTS games i played in my gaming history, but enough about my excitement in thins game.
Actually now that im thinking i don't really know how i should describe this game.
Set in 17-18 century, base building, squad micromanagement RTS. When I put it this way, it doesn't really sound anything more than another generic RTS. Yes, its not some ground breaking game which invents something totally new and different. No. It does same as most other RTS games, but the beauty is how it does it. Here i start again about how i love this game and not actual review of it. The problem is that there is no way how to do it other than recommend to play it and see this amazing game for yourselves.
