It became a 'way of life'.

User Rating: 9.7 | Conker's Bad Fur Day N64
Ok, so conker the squirrel puts down the phone after telling his girlfriend “Berry” that he might be late home. Ever since that night his life will never be the same again… As soon as you begin playing as a talking squirrel with a hang-over who has an attitude to match your realise something’s very special about this game. Rare truly did create something beautiful, a game which you’re unlikely to forget… I’d have to say conkers bad fur day is the funniest game I have ever seen even beating comedy films and programmes I’ve seen on TV. There’s not a dull moment with this game and the story will suck you in with twists, turns and very original scenarios, take the Poo monster for example. The acting is superb and visuals which put most N64 games to shame, not to mention the “context sensitive” controls as Conker himself explains at the beginning. I played this game 6 years ago and it still shines above a lot of new titles out to this very day. Don’t under estimate the cute little squirrel, looks are not everything. The story even takes the Mickey out of certain films like ‘The matrix’ and ‘Dracula’ along with many others making for an extremely entertaining experience with challenging puzzles to keep you on your toes, however this is an 18 containing gore and strong language, but this does not stop it being enjoyed by younger and older gamers alike. There are jokes in the game which only the adults will understand along with funny moment’s more associated with children (if given parental permission). There is also a multi-player game mode which does not let the game down and makes a nice addition for replay ability. These matches consist of the player being able to select various characters from different parts in the story and trying to achieve certain objectives (e.g. One multi-player mode requires one player or more to be the dinosaurs who guard their egg’s, and the rest of the players are cavemen who try to steal the eggs so they can eat them). This truly is a different multi-player experience and in my opinion would be enjoyed by anyone with two controllers or even one if they wish to play with A.I. Unfortunately Rare ware© which are now referred to as just ‘Rare©’ Made this game limited edition and it was in fact one of the few last games to be published on the Nintendo 64, I feel that this led to Conkers bad fur day being under-rated and not even known by many people which I think is a real shame. And anyone who still has an N64 should really give this game a try and play with the ‘alcoholic squirrel’ to have some real fun. I feel I owe this review to the game as it really had a big impact on me.
