A gem of the N64, an underappreciated work of art.

User Rating: 9.6 | Conker's Bad Fur Day N64
Conker's Bad fur day really came out of left field when it did, and I doubt anyone was expecting a game of that rating and type of humor would come out on a nintendo system as well. So you're conker, a slightly tipsy drunkard squirrel who happens to get a little bit lost in all the wrong ways. On the other side of town, A lion king(Yep, a lion king) has a problem with his table, and his solution, thanks to his stereotypical mad scientist friend, is a red squirrel. As you go through this bizzare world of low-brow poo humor, entertaining bosses singing operas about unmentionable things, you'll find the game hits every spot on both the gameplay itself, the strange humorous storyline, and simply the humor itself. Rare gives you a nice large variety of places to go as well, from dark vampire castles, a warzone, and a flurry of others. The amount of movies this game parodies is astounding.

The graphics at the time were about right on target for N64 level. If it bugs you at all, try getting the xbox version. No real glitches or graphical errors. The audio is also top notch in both environments and the large amount of voice acting.

The game will only take you about 10 hours or so, yet the multiplayer is astoundingly addictive, you could probably spend the same amount of hours most people play halo on this game, if only the frame rate were a little nicer sometimes...
