Too Short to be taken seriously, only die-hard fans who love playing the campaigns need bother looking at this expansion

The latest installment in Company of Heroes is admittedly a fun game to play, for all 4 to 5 hours of it! Comprised of 3 mini campaigns (I emphasize 'mini') I was quite surprised when I started the first campaign and completed it in just over an hour (including 'Pause' time to issue orders). It just starts to get interesting when it finishes and you're off to the next campaign.
The last campaign, Falaise Pocket as well is not entirely satisfying. Your sole purpose is to hold off the inevitable onslaught of the invading allied forces until given the orders to retreat. It's literally a campaign of merely trying to stay alive, which is not necessarily how I wanted to end the campaign. It leaves you feeling defeated even if you hit your objectives. And where I appreciate how THQ were able to provide a glimpse into what this division had to face and the feeling of fighting impossible odds (from a gaming perspective), it would make for a better experience to do this particular campaign second to the last versus last. As you don't have to do these 3 in any particular order I strongly suggest you do the last campaign first or second. Save the Tiger Ace for last if you want the feeling of stomping over your enemies.

The Tiger Ace campaign is almost worth buying this game for alone, but again it just barely starts when the mini-campaign ends. Having a Tiger in your control is an awesome feeling, and here you feel like Godzilla stepping on cars and not even paying attention to the people running around you.

Causeway (the only Allied campaign) is a bit of mystery to me. It is so short and pointless that it seems as if they cut development short to make a tight dead-line.

I'm not entirely sure how THQ thought they could role out an expansion pack that offers less up-grades and less 'new new' (e.g. new armies, new vehicles, etc.) AND have shorter campaigns than either of the previous two released games. All in all, I would only recommend this game to CoH enthusiast who can't get enough of CoH (and be prepared to not satisfy that feeling).
