Tetris. Tetris. Tetris. Why does nobody care about Columns?
You just can't. This game was too much underrated for anyone to actually buy it.
But since it came with our consoles or in a game pack, let's review it, shall we?
The game is actually simple. A column with three blocks starts falling. Blocks can have various colors. Line up three or more blocks to clear them from the screen. There are special block that yada yada yada... You know the deal.
The multiplayer option is quite good for some bets between friends.
But where I think the game stands out is in the audio/visual category. The Roman feel in it is really nice and gives the game a kind of epic feeling. The angels, guards, women and alike art are pretty and make good use of the color palette.
Additionally, the music. Aah! The music! My god... It penetrates your mind! At least until it gets you all frustrated.
"Should I buy it?" you ask.
"No! You shall not!" I reply.
Really. Unless you really like puzzles, it's not worth you money.
What you SHOULD DO is buy a game pack (like MegaGames) that includes the game.
A worth playing game that almost everybody possesses. Look for it in the attic.
