A faster version of the original and better too

OK,I find this to be the best puzzler on the GBA.The game has decent anime styled characters and the graphicss in general are alright,the jewels themselves are slightly 3D.The gameplay is the same as before,just match 3 coulors together and hope to get a big chain reaction.You also get black jewels that destroy all the jewels of the coulor they land on.The game will always remind you to use these on high columns so you can use them twice(a vital skill).This gameplay is incredibly simple but highly addictive,I sometimes pick it up intending to play for a few minutes and end up playing for hours.It's such a great feeling when you get your master rank.There is a story about helping some lazy princess get the jewels for her crown(hence the name)but it really is just as bare bones a story you can get.You also can battle against the computor using a few of the special 24 crown gems in the game each activating a different skill.The problem some of these(like speed up and reverse)don't actually affect the computor at all rendering them useless.The more you play through the modes in the game the more crown jewels you unlock.There are 2 playable characters though they play exactly the same and have the same story.Flash columns is a mode where you must clear through a pile of gems to get rid of a flashing gem in a limited amount of time.This also unlocks crown gems.There is 2 player mode that plays the same as the computor battle mode where you can use your crown jewels.
Overall columns crown is one of the best puzzle games on the GBA,it is as good as it was on the megadrive if not better and has lost none of its charm.
